The Ancram Volunteer Fire Company was established in 1939. The Ancram Fire District serves the town of Ancram, which encompasses the hamlets of Ancramdale and Boston Corner, and covers a portion of the town of Gallatin, serving approximately 2000 residents.
The firehouse is located at the intersection of County Route 7 and State Route 82 .
Ancram Fire Company serves as a mutual aid department to the surrounding fire districts.
Ancram's active firefighters are certified in interior firefighting, CPR, and AED operations.
